About Us
Spirit Timing was founded in 2012 when the Chicopee Comprehensive High School Cross Country Team needed race timing for their upcoming season. Patrick Byrnes, a member of the team at the time, developed a timing system run by other students and volunteers to accurately record the times of all the runners while he was competing. In 2015, Patrick started attending Rochester Institute of Technology where he timed races for the school. Since then, Spirit Timing has developed to become a leader in affordable and reliable timing services in the Western New York area. Our services include bib pickup before events, accurate chip timing, live results, professional photography, and race video.
